Linen Fabric By the Yard

Woven from the long, thin fibers of the flax plant, linen is known for its durability, natural appeal, and strength. It’s been used for thousands of years to create clothing, bedding, and exceptional decor for your living space. Because of linen’s durability, breathability, and luxurious feel, it’s a great choice for high-end home decor such as pillows, lampshades, curtains, tablecloths, and light upholstery projects. Perhaps you want to cover a small ottoman or create custom chair cushion covers. Linen upholstery fabric might be exactly what you’re looking for. Choose designs from floral, fruit, birds, and nature to retro and vintage-inspired geometric shapes and stripes; something for everyone.

Flax Linen

With extreme versatility, our designer flax linen by the yard can be used for pillows, drapery, lampshades, and even light upholstery.  Our luxurious flax linen comes in various patterns and styles to add texture to your space and elevate your design. In addition to the natural look and lightweight feel of sustainable flax linen, it is also a hypoallergenic textile that moves and breathes like no other fabric. Because its fibers are harvested from the stem of the flax plant, it is thicker and stronger than basic linen. With a slightly coarser texture, it is naturally smooth, straight, and flexible in its many uses.

Raw Canvas

Known for its durability and strength, our raw canvas fabric by the yard features an easily cleanable and tight weave, ideal for heavy upholstery, floor cushions, drapes, pillow covers, table runners, and wall art. Raw canvas fabric is made from minimally processed cotton or linen fibers with a coarser texture, natural colors, and a matte finish. An especially good choice for covering chairs, sofas, and ottomans, raw canvas upholstery fabric is so strong that it can withstand lots of long-term wear and tear, especially from kids and pets. And because raw canvas upholstery fabric is breathable, it is also resistant to a buildup of moisture and odors.

California Cotton

The casual comforts of California come to life with our California Cotton Fabric by the yard collection. This organic, high-quality textured cotton has been grown in southern California since the 1800s and is perfect for producing exceptional textile products. Soft-to-the-touch, this nubby boucle weave is made with durable cotton, not only grown in California but also designed and manufactured here. Known for its commitment to sustainability, many of the state’s growers implement practices to conserve precious water supplies and reduce the use of pesticides. Not only are you utilizing beautiful fabric for your decorating projects,  but you’re also contributing to responsible, sustainable farming practices in the United States.

Organic Twill

Natural, eco-friendly organic twill fabric by the yard is a versatile textile that promises durability and luxury at the same time. It lends itself to almost any type of home decor project. Because of its natural strength and moisture-resistant qualities, organic twill offers comfort and breathability. Chemical-free, sustainable organic twill fabric by the yard is perfect for tablecloths and napkins, curtains, and artwork.  It’s hypoallergenic, biodegradable, earthy, and incredibly soft to the touch. And when it comes to light upholstery projects, organic twill upholstery fabric is strong and easy to work with.

Hopsack

One of the heavier fabrics perfect for upholstery, Hopsack is a blend of highly durable linen and cotton. With a crisp, tailored look, Hopsack is a loosely woven, rough-surfaced weave with a basket-like pattern. Strong fibers allow for easy ventilation and breathability, perfect for projects requiring long-lasting results. Hopsack offers a natural look with many colors and styles to choose from. Its rougher surface makes it easy to clean, yet it is extremely visually pleasing and lends itself to many of your decorating projects.
